This is one of my top picks!
I really wish this product had existed when my oldest was a baby and it should definitely replace your traditional baby nasal aspirator bulb. I still remember using the bulb syringe type that the hospital sent home with us and having to suck several times to clean my little guy out.
Since I was using it multiple times in one cleaning their little nostrils would get red and sore. When I found the NoseFrida Baby Nasal Aspirator I wondered how I ever lived without it. We call it the “snotsucker”!
- HYGIENIC: Disposable filters are clinically proven to the snot sucker when clearing stuffy noses. Replace filter after every use.
- COMFORTABLE + NON-INVASIVE: NoseFrida creates a seal with the outside of the baby’s nostril for gentle snotsucking.
- DISHWASHER SAFE: The blue nasal tube, red mouthpiece, and filter cap are top-rack dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Care & Cleaning: Wash With Soap and Water
- PEDIATRICIAN RECOMMENDED: BPA + Phthalate-free. Suitable for ages 0 to 9 years
How It Works
Just like the picture shows, you use your mouth to suck the snot from your baby’s nose!
But wait, it’s not as disgusting as it sounds! The snot is collected in the tube by a filter before ever making it to your mouth.
Unlike the bulb-type, you can actually see if this is working while you are using it. It also works much quicker which you will be glad for during those middle-of-the-night snot sucking sessions.
The bulb always made my babies cry more, but the NoseFrida was so quick and worked so well that I’m convinced that I actually got more sleep with my third baby because I had this!
Cleaning The Nosefrida Baby Nasal Aspirator
The NoseFrida comes with filters that prevent the spread of germs and keep the babies snot from being sucked into your mouth!
I was surprised at how easy it is to clean. It can be easily disassembled by pulling the 3 pieces apart and cleaning them in hot soapy water. It’s even dishwasher safe!
When it dries you just place a fresh filter in the tube and snap the 3 pieces back together. Think about it, can you imagine how nasty the inside of a nasal aspirator bulb is?
